Privacy Policy for EASY PSC App
This policy explains how the EASY PSC Android application (com.easypsc.easypsc) handles user data, device permissions, and advertising in compliance with Google Play Store Developer policies.
1. App Overview & Scope
This Privacy Policy applies specifically to the EASY PSC mobile application for Android, distributed via the Google Play Store under package name com.easypsc.easypsc.
EASY PSC is an educational utility designed to help aspirants practice mock tests, previous year question papers, and study rank files for Kerala PSC competitive examinations. We adhere to the Google Play Developer Distribution Agreement and User Data policies.
2. Android Device Permissions & Functional Justifications
Our application requests only the minimum set of permissions necessary to deliver core educational functionality. We do not access sensitive permissions such as contacts, microphone, camera, SMS, or precise location:

3. Account Registration & Personal Data
You can explore public quizzes as a guest. To save your test progress, bookmark questions, and participate in statewide leaderboards, you can create an account using:
- Google Sign-In: We securely receive your name, email address, and profile picture avatar from Google OAuth. We never access your Google password or Google Drive files.
- Phone Number Login: Used solely to send a One-Time Password (OTP) for account verification and password-less authentication.
- Quiz Performance Records: Answer selections, mock test scores, time per question, and completion timestamps are stored to generate your personal performance analytics.
4. Third-Party Software Development Kits (SDKs)
The EASY PSC app integrates reputable third-party SDKs to provide analytics, crash reporting, and monetization:
- Google Firebase Authentication: Manages secure user tokenization and session persistence.
- Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM): Delivers push notifications for new Kerala PSC mock tests and exam dates.
- Google Firebase Crashlytics: Collects anonymized crash logs, device models, and stack traces to fix app crashes and optimize performance.
- Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob / AdSense): Serves in-app banner and interstitial ads to keep all study materials 100% free for students.
5. Advertising ID & In-App Advertising Policy
In compliance with Google Play's Advertising ID Policy:
- The Google Advertising ID (GAID) is transmitted to Google AdMob solely for advertising frequency capping, fraud prevention, and rendering non-personalized or personalized ads.
- We never link the Advertising ID to personally identifiable information (such as your email or phone number) without your explicit consent.
- You can reset or delete your Advertising ID at any time on your Android device via: Settings > Google > Ads > Delete Advertising ID.
6. Local Storage & Offline Question Bookmarks
The EASY PSC app uses Android SQLite / Room / SharedPreferences local database storage to cache your saved question bookmarks and app preferences. This data remains on your physical device and can be cleared at any time by clearing the application cache in Android Settings.
7. Account & Personal Data Deletion Instructions
Path 1: In-App Deletion (Instant)
- Open the EASY PSC App on your device.
- Tap the Profile tab in the bottom navigation bar.
- Tap Manage Account > Delete Account.
- Confirm your request. Your profile data and exam history will be immediately and irreversibly deleted.
Path 2: Web / Written Request
If you have uninstalled the app or cannot log in, visit our public Account & Data Deletion Instructions Page or send an email to contact@easypsc.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". Manual requests are completed within 7 to 14 business days.
8. Children's Privacy (Families Policy Compliance)
The EASY PSC app is intended for candidates preparing for competitive government examinations (minimum eligible age for Kerala PSC exams is 18 years, or 10th-standard completers). The application does not target children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly solicit or collect personal data from children.
